Brief

A content creation project for a short film about a Japanese American boy processing the loss of his grandmother during his first Obon festival without her. The project produces visual content for social media to promote the film and support its Kickstarter funding campaign.

1.0 SOCIAL MEDIA

I created a series of social media posts called “Meet the Artist” to spotlight and get
to know the creators behind Bon Odori. Each artist was illustrated in a kokeshi doll
style, referencing a key prop from the short film, while the posts also highlighted
their individual work and contributions to the project.
